Eliminate 10 seconds of standing vehicle emission with every application:  

Use the pedestrian “Walk” button and get enough green signal time for a senior citizen or a young person to walk across the intersection. (On average, about 17 seconds of walk time is provided)   

Rest your bike on the vehicle detection symbol (imbedded loop detectors or cameras) and get the minimum green time, therefore avoiding vehicle delay which eliminates pollution from standing vehicles.  (On average, about 7 seconds of minimum vehicle green time is provided)
